These books were shared equally among the students at first.
When 15 of them gave up their share of the books,
the rest received 3 extra books each.
How many books did each student get at first?

Total number of extra books = $25 × 3 = 75$
This means that 25 students received 75 extra books.
These 75 books were given by 15 students.
